About Metiri
I’ve seen how the business side of a design studio can demand as much attention as the design.
As projects move forward, the practical side of running a studio moves alongside the creative work, shaping how time and focus are spent each day. As studios grow, that reality becomes more present.
Metiri shapes operational support to fit the studio, not the other way around. Rather than stepping into the design process, we support it. From there, we help keep details and timelines on track as studios evolve. This is how the business supports the design, without competing with it.
OUR APPROACH
Respect How Studios Work
Design studios rely on intuition, judgment, and creative flow. Our approach begins by respecting that rhythm and making operational decisions that support it.
Knowing Where to Focus
Support begins with a clear sense of priorities: what needs care now, what can wait, and what doesn’t require involvement.
Maintain Stability as Things Change
Studios evolve, projects shift, and priorities change. Our role is to help maintain stability through those changes, keeping work organized and aligned as the studio grows.
About Nicole
I’ve always been drawn to the business side of creativity. Growing up in a home filled with art and design, I saw early on the energy and life it brought, and I wanted to support the people behind it.
I began my career working with small fashion brands, collaborating closely with founders on operational decisions and oversight across the business. Over time, I became a steady point of support, trusted to keep things running and see work through.
That experience led me to the vendor side of interior design, where I spent seven years working closely with interior designers on residential, commercial, and hospitality projects. I supported studios at every stage, from emerging practices to AD100 firms, often on complex, multi-year projects.
In that role, designers trusted me with real responsibility. I was involved wherever decisions needed follow-up, coordination, or careful attention, especially when timelines were tight or projects became complicated. I treated the work as if it were my own, because it mattered to the people involved, and it mattered to me to do it well.
Supporting creatives through Metiri allows me to continue this work in a world that has always felt like home.
